Setup

  1. Place the motor unit on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
  2. Fit the processing bowl onto the motor unit, aligning the handle with the safety interlock mechanism. Turn clockwise until it locks into place.
  3. Carefully place the stainless steel blade onto the central spindle inside the bowl.
  4. Add your ingredients to the processing bowl.
  5. Secure the lid onto the processing bowl, ensuring it clicks into the safety interlock. The appliance will not operate unless the bowl and lid are correctly locked.
  6. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation (Chopping/Mixing)

  1. Ensure the food processor is correctly assembled and plugged in.
  2. Turn the control dial to the desired speed setting. The Kenwood 1.4L Compact Food Processor has 1 speed setting.
  3. For continuous operation, turn the dial to the 'ON' position. For pulse action, turn the dial to the 'PULSE' position and release.

  6. Wait for the blade to stop completely before removing the lid and bowl.
