3. Setup

Unpacking and Assembly:

  1. Carefully remove the generator from its packaging.
  2. Attach the wheels and support legs using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
  3. Install the handle kit for easy portability.

Adding Oil and Fuel:

  1. Place the generator on a level surface.
  2. Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick. Add the recommended engine oil (typically 10W-30) until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
  3. Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline (minimum 87 octane). Do not overfill the tank. Ensure the fuel cap is securely fastened.

4. Operating Instructions

Starting the Generator:

  1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all electrical loads are disconnected.
  2. Turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position.
  3. Move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (if the engine is cold).
  4. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the 'START' position. Release the key once the engine starts.
  5. Once the engine starts and runs smoothly, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
  6. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes to warm up before connecting any electrical loads.

  1. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
  2. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the 'OFF' position.
  4. Turn the fuel valve to the 'OFF' position.
