1. Product Overview

2. Safety Information

Always read and understand the entire instruction manual before operating the generator. Failure to follow safety instructions can result in serious injury or death.

General Safety Guidelines:

• Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide, an odorless, colorless gas that can kill you. NEVER operate the generator indoors or in partially enclosed spaces. Always operate outdoors in a well-ventilated area, away from windows, doors, and vents.
• Electrical Shock Hazard: Ensure the generator is properly grounded. Do not operate in wet conditions. Always use appropriate extension cords rated for outdoor use and the power requirements of your appliances.

3. Setup

Unpacking and Assembly:

1. Carefully remove the generator from its packaging.
2. Attach the wheels and support legs using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
3. Install the handle kit for easy portability.

Adding Oil and Fuel:

1. Place the generator on a level surface.
2. Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick. Add the recommended engine oil (typically 10W-30) until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
3. Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline (minimum 87 octane). Do not overfill the tank. Ensure the fuel cap is securely fastened.

4. Operating Instructions

Starting the Generator:

1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all electrical loads are disconnected.
2. Turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position.
3. Move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (if the engine is cold).
4. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the 'START' position. Release the key once the engine starts.
5. Once the engine starts and runs smoothly, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
6. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes to warm up before connecting any electrical loads.

Connecting Electrical Loads:

• Ensure the total running wattage of your appliances does not exceed the generator's running wattage (3,500 watts).
• Plug your appliances into the appropriate outlets on the power panel.
• For 120V/240V operation, utilize the twist-lock outlet and MX2 Technology as needed.

Stopping the Generator:

1. Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
2. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the 'OFF' position.
4. Turn the fuel valve to the 'OFF' position.

• Engine Will Not Start: Check fuel level, oil level, spark plug condition, and ensure the choke is set correctly for a cold start. Verify the ignition switch is in the 'ON' position.
• No Power Output: Check if circuit breakers are tripped on the control panel. Ensure all connections are secure and that the total load does not exceed the generator's capacity.
• Engine Runs Rough: Inspect the air filter for clogs and clean or replace if necessary. Check for stale fuel and replace with fresh gasoline if needed.
• Low Oil Shutoff Engaged: Add engine oil to the proper level. The generator will not run if the oil is too low.
