  • Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
  • Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.
  • Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

Front Panel Controls

  5. AUX IN Jack: 3.5mm input for connecting external audio devices (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
  6. REC OUT Jack: Audio output for connecting to recording equipment or external amplifiers.
  7. DC 12V / 1A Input: Alternative power input for DC 12V, 1A power adapter (not included).
  8. Bass Reflex Port: Enhances low-frequency audio performance.

4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

  1. Insert the supplied AC power cord into the AC IN jack on the rear panel of the radio.
  2. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V ~ 60Hz).
  3. Alternatively, for DC power, connect a compatible DC 12V / 1A power adapter (not included) to the DC 12V / 1A Input jack.

4.2 Antenna Connection

Your WR-11 radio has built-in AM and FM antennas. For improved reception, external antennas can be connected.

  • FM Antenna: The radio includes an FM wire antenna. Connect it to the 75Ω FM-EXT. terminal. Ensure the INTERNAL / EXTERNAL FM ANTENNA switch is set to EXTERNAL.
  • AM Antenna: For enhanced AM reception, connect an external AM antenna (not included) to the AM-EXT. and GND screw terminals.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Band Selection

  1. Rotate the OFF/FM/AM Selector knob to either FM or AM to power on the radio and select the desired band.
  2. To power off the radio, rotate the OFF/FM/AM Selector knob to OFF.

5.2 Tuning to a Station

  1. Once the desired band (FM or AM) is selected, slowly rotate the Tuning Knob to scan through frequencies.
  2. Observe the Tuning Indicator LED. It will illuminate brightly when a strong signal is received, indicating optimal tuning.
  3. Adjust the Volume Control knob to your preferred listening level.

5.3 Using the Aux-In

Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack on the rear panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). The radio will automatically switch to Aux-In mode when a device is connected.

5.4 Using the Record-Out

Connect recording equipment or an external amplifier to the REC OUT jack on the rear panel using an appropriate audio cable (not included). This provides a line-level audio output.

6. Maintenance

  • Clean the radio's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust.
  • Ensure proper ventilation by not covering the bass reflex port or any other openings.
