4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Compressor Setup
- Place the TC-326T compressor on a stable, flat surface in a well-ventilated area.
- Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position.
- Connect the 6-foot braided air hose to the air outlet on the compressor. Tighten securely.
- Plug the compressor's power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

4.2 Airbrush Connection
- Attach the quick disconnect plug to the end of the air hose.
- Connect the Master G22 airbrush to the quick disconnect. This allows for easy attachment and detachment of the airbrush.

4.3 Airbrush Holder Installation
The kit includes two types of airbrush holders:
- Compressor-Mounted Dual Airbrush Holder: This holder attaches directly to the compressor for convenient storage of two airbrushes.
- Clamp-On Airbrush Holder: This holder can be clamped onto any flat surface, such as a workbench or table, and can hold up to four airbrushes.
5. Operation
5.1 Preparing Paint
The included U.S. Art Supply Water-Based Acrylic Airbrush Paints are ready-to-spray. However, depending on your desired consistency and airbrush model, you may need to thin them further using the included reducer. Use the mixing cups and sticks to prepare your colors.

5.2 Airbrushing Techniques (G22 Dual-Action Airbrush)
The G22 is a dual-action airbrush, meaning the trigger controls both air and paint flow:
- Air Flow: Press the trigger down to release air.
- Paint Flow: Pull the trigger back to release paint.
- Practice controlling both movements simultaneously to achieve desired spray patterns, from fine lines to broad coverage.
5.3 Compressor Controls
Turn on the compressor using the power switch. The compressor will build pressure in the 3-liter tank and then automatically shut off once the maximum pressure is reached. It will restart automatically when the pressure drops during use. Use the pressure regulator to adjust the air pressure to your desired PSI for optimal airbrushing.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and performance of your airbrush system.
6.1 Airbrush Cleaning
- After each use, empty any remaining paint from the gravity cup.
- Add a few drops of airbrush cleaner or water to the cup and spray it through the airbrush into the 3-in-1 cleaning pot until the spray runs clear.
- For thorough cleaning, disassemble the airbrush (refer to Figure 5) and clean each component with airbrush cleaner and appropriate cleaning brushes.
- Reassemble the airbrush carefully, ensuring all parts are correctly seated.
6.2 Compressor Maintenance
- Drain Moisture Trap: Regularly drain any accumulated moisture from the water trap filter located on the compressor.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe down the exterior of the compressor with a damp cloth to remove dust and paint residue.
- Air Filter: Check and clean or replace the air filter as needed to ensure optimal airflow.
7. Troubleshooting Common Issues
If you encounter problems with your airbrush system, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No air from airbrush | Compressor off, hose disconnected, airbrush clogged. | Check power, reconnect hose, clean airbrush nozzle. |
| Paint sputtering | Paint too thick, low air pressure, partially clogged nozzle. | Thin paint, increase air pressure, clean nozzle. |
| Airbrush leaks | Loose nozzle, damaged O-rings, bent needle. | Tighten nozzle, replace O-rings, straighten/replace needle. |
| Compressor not turning on | Power cord unplugged, power switch off, circuit breaker tripped. | Check power connections, ensure switch is on, reset breaker. |
