The kit includes two types of airbrush holders:

5. Operation

5.1 Preparing Paint

The included U.S. Art Supply Water-Based Acrylic Airbrush Paints are ready-to-spray. However, depending on your desired consistency and airbrush model, you may need to thin them further using the included reducer. Use the mixing cups and sticks to prepare your colors.

5.2 Airbrushing Techniques (G22 Dual-Action Airbrush)

The G22 is a dual-action airbrush, meaning the trigger controls both air and paint flow:

5.3 Compressor Controls

Turn on the compressor using the power switch. The compressor will build pressure in the 3-liter tank and then automatically shut off once the maximum pressure is reached. It will restart automatically when the pressure drops during use. Use the pressure regulator to adjust the air pressure to your desired PSI for optimal airbrushing.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and performance of your airbrush system.

6.1 Airbrush Cleaning

  1. After each use, empty any remaining paint from the gravity cup.
  2. Add a few drops of airbrush cleaner or water to the cup and spray it through the airbrush into the 3-in-1 cleaning pot until the spray runs clear.
  3. For thorough cleaning, disassemble the airbrush (refer to Figure 5) and clean each component with airbrush cleaner and appropriate cleaning brushes.
  4. Reassemble the airbrush carefully, ensuring all parts are correctly seated.

6.2 Compressor Maintenance

7. Troubleshooting Common Issues

If you encounter problems with your airbrush system, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
