4.1. Top Panel Controls

5. Setup

6.1. Manual Mode

In Manual mode, the pedal responds directly to the physical positions of the knobs. To enter Manual mode, press the "Manual" footswitch. The LED above the "Manual" footswitch will illuminate.

• Selecting Reverb Type: Press one of the five Algorithm Select buttons (Room, Spring, Hall, Plate, Specials) to choose a main reverb type.
• Selecting Sub-Category: Each main reverb type has multiple sub-categories. Repeatedly press the selected Algorithm Select button to cycle through its sub-categories, indicated by the small LEDs above the button. For example, for "Room" you can select "small", "medium", or "large".
• Adjusting Parameters: Use the Decay, Pre-Delay, Color, and Dynamic Mix Level knobs to fine-tune your reverb sound.

6.2. Preset Mode

The Nova Reverb allows you to save one custom preset. To enter Preset mode, press the "Preset" footswitch. The LED above the "Preset" footswitch will illuminate, and the pedal will recall the last saved preset.

• Saving a Preset:
  1. Set your desired reverb type and parameters using the knobs and Algorithm Select buttons in Manual mode.
  2. Hold down the "Preset" footswitch for approximately 2 seconds until the LED above it flashes, indicating the preset has been saved.
• Recalling a Preset: Simply press the "Preset" footswitch.

6.3. Reverb Types and Sub-Categories

The Nova Reverb offers a versatile palette of reverb sounds:

• Room: Simulates the acoustics of various room sizes (small, medium, large).
• Spring: Emulates classic spring reverb tanks (plain, classic, vintage).
• Hall: Creates the expansive sound of large halls (small, medium, church, classic, concert).
• Plate: Reproduces the smooth, dense sound of plate reverbs (tin, silver, gold).
• Specials: Unique and experimental reverb effects (stomp, amb, mod).

6.4. DynaMix Feature

DynaMix is a dynamic ducking reverb feature. When active, the reverb level will automatically decrease when you play, allowing your dry guitar signal to cut through clearly. When you stop playing, the reverb tail will swell back up. This helps prevent your playing from being washed out by the reverb. The Dynamic Mix Level knob controls the intensity of this effect.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pedal's exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the finish.
