Installation Guide

Proper installation is crucial for optimal sound performance and safety. Please follow these steps carefully.

1. Planning Speaker Placement

Determine the ideal location for your speakers in the wall or ceiling. Consider room acoustics, listening area, and proximity to power sources and audio equipment. Ensure there are no electrical wires, plumbing, or other obstructions behind the chosen installation area.

2. Creating the Cut-Out

  1. Use the provided cut-out template to trace the opening on your wall or ceiling.
  2. Carefully cut along the traced line using a drywall saw or appropriate tool.

3. Wiring the Speakers

  1. Run speaker wire from your amplifier or receiver to the speaker opening. Ensure the wire gauge is appropriate for the length of the run.
  2. Connect the speaker wires to the spring-loaded terminals on the back of the speaker. Match the positive (+) terminal on the speaker (red) to the positive (+) terminal on your amplifier, and the negative (-) terminal on the speaker (black) to the negative (-) terminal on your amplifier.
  3. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent signal loss or short circuits.

4. Mounting the Speakers

  1. Gently insert the speaker into the cut-out opening.
  2. Tighten the mounting screws located on the front baffle of the speaker. These screws will rotate the mounting tabs behind the wall/ceiling and secure the speaker in place. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the speaker frame or the mounting surface.
  3. Once secured, attach the magnetic grill to the speaker baffle.
