Product Overview

Setup
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.
2. Placement
Place the unit on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Power Connection
- Connect the power cord to the AC IN jack on the rear of the unit.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard AC wall outlet.
4. Antenna Connection (FM/MW)
For optimal radio reception, extend the FM wire antenna fully. For MW reception, the internal antenna is generally sufficient, but repositioning the unit may improve reception.
Operating Instructions
Basic Controls
- STANDBY/ON Button: Press to turn the unit on or off (standby mode).
- VOLUME UP/DOWN Knobs: Rotate to adjust the audio output level.
- FUNCTION Button: Press to cycle through available modes (CD, FM, MW, USB, AUX).
- BAND Button: In radio mode, press to switch between FM and MW bands.
- MP3 Button: Specifically for MP3 playback functions.
- CLOCK/TIMER Button: Access clock and timer settings.
- TIMER ON/SLEEP Button: Set sleep timer or activate timer functions.
- MEMORY/TIME SET Button: Save radio presets or set the time.
- FM MODE/PLAY MODE Button: In FM mode, switch between stereo/mono. In CD/USB mode, select playback modes (repeat, random).
- INTRO/PTY Button: For CD/USB, plays the first few seconds of each track. In FM mode, displays Program Type (PTY) information if available.
- MUTING Button: Temporarily mutes the audio output.
- TUNING UP/DOWN Knobs: Rotate to manually tune radio frequencies.
- USB Port: Connect USB storage devices for MP3/WAV playback.
- AUX IN Jack: Connect external audio devices using a 3.5mm stereo cable.
CD/MP3 Playback
- Press the FUNCTION button to select CD mode.
- Open the CD compartment and insert a CD (audio CD or MP3 CD) with the label side up.
- Close the CD compartment. Playback will start automatically or press the Play/Pause button.
- Use the Skip/Search buttons (▶▶I / I◀◀) to navigate tracks.
- Press the Stop button (■) to stop playback.
USB Playback
- Insert a USB storage device into the USB port.
- Press the FUNCTION button to select USB mode.
- The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible MP3/WAV files.
- Use the Play/Pause, Stop, and Skip/Search buttons to control playback.
FM/MW Radio Operation
- Press the FUNCTION button to select FM or MW radio mode.
- Press the BAND button to switch between FM and MW.
- Rotate the TUNING UP/DOWN knobs to manually tune to a desired station.
- To auto-scan for stations, press and hold the Skip/Search buttons (▶▶I / I◀◀).
- To save a preset station:
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press the MEMORY/TIME SET button.
- Use the Skip/Search buttons to select a preset number.
- Press MEMORY/TIME SET again to confirm.
Setting the Clock and Timer
- Press and hold the CLOCK/TIMER button to enter clock setting mode.
- Use the Skip/Search buttons to adjust hours and minutes.
- Press MEMORY/TIME SET to confirm each setting.
- Follow similar steps using the TIMER ON/SLEEP button to set alarm and sleep timer functions.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. For stubborn stains, a lightly dampened cloth may be used, followed by a dry cloth.
CD Lens Care
Avoid touching the CD lens. If the lens becomes dirty, use a commercially available CD lens cleaner disc. Do not attempt to clean the lens manually with cotton swabs or other objects.
Storage
If the unit will not be used for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
Troubleshooting
