2. Setup and Placement
Before using, read the entire product label for complete directions and precautions. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
2.1. Indoor Use
- Open the pouch and carefully break the bait stations apart from each other.
- Place one bait station along each ant trail or in out-of-the-way places near walls, in cabinets, and under sinks and refrigerators.
- For heavily infested areas, two or more bait stations may be required for effective control.

2.2. Outdoor Use
- Open the pouch and carefully break the bait stations apart before using.
- Place one bait station along each ant trail around the outside of homes.
- Place stations in areas inaccessible to children, pets, and other non-target animals.
- Larger homes or homes with heavy infestations may require two or more bait stations to achieve control.

3. Operating Instructions
Hot Shot MaxAttrax Ant Bait starts killing ants in hours. The active ingredient, Indoxacarb (0.05%), is carried by foraging ants back to the colony, effectively eliminating the queen and the entire colony.

4. Maintenance
For continued indoor control, replace baits every six months or sooner if the infestation is heavy or the bait stations are empty.

5. Troubleshooting
If ants are still present after several days, consider placing additional bait stations in other areas where ant activity is observed. Ensure bait stations are placed directly along ant trails or in out-of-the-way places where ants are frequently seen.
If the infestation is particularly heavy, it may take longer to see complete elimination. Continue to monitor ant activity and replace baits as needed according to the maintenance schedule.
