5. Setup

5.2 Adding Vacuum Pump Oil

1. Remove the oil fill cap.
2. Slowly pour the recommended vacuum pump oil into the oil reservoir until the oil level is between the "MIN" and "MAX" lines on the sight glass. Do not overfill.
3. Replace the oil fill cap securely.

5.3 Electrical Connection

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Connecting to a System

6.2 Starting the Pump

1. Once evacuation is complete, close the valve on the system or manifold to isolate the vacuum pump.
2. Turn the pump power switch to the "OFF" position.
3. Disconnect the power cord.
4. Carefully disconnect the vacuum hose from the pump and system. Replace protective caps on pump ports.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Oil Change

Regular oil changes are critical for pump longevity and performance. Change the oil when it appears discolored, cloudy, or after every 10-20 hours of operation, or more frequently if evacuating systems with high moisture content.

2. Place a suitable container under the oil drain plug.
3. Remove the oil drain plug and the oil fill cap to allow the oil to drain completely.
4. Replace the oil drain plug.
