4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install the ScanPart stacking frame:

  1. Prepare the Area: Ensure the washing machine is unplugged and positioned on a level, stable surface. Clean the top surface of the washing machine.
  2. Place the Stacking Frame: Carefully lift the ScanPart stacking frame and place it centrally on top of the washing machine. Ensure it sits flush and securely on all edges.
  3. Position the Dryer: With assistance, carefully lift the dryer and place it on top of the stacking frame. Ensure the dryer is centered and stable on the frame.
  4. Optional Stability Screws: For enhanced stability, the frame includes provisions for securing it. Locate the designated screw points on the frame's metal crossbars. Using appropriate screws (typically included), fasten the frame to the top of the washing machine if your washing machine's design allows for this. This step is optional but recommended for maximum stability.

5. Operating Instructions

The ScanPart stacking frame features a pull-out worktop for added functionality.

  1. Extending the Worktop: Gently pull the front edge of the worktop towards you until it fully extends. The worktop is designed to slide smoothly on its runners.
  2. Using the Worktop: The extended worktop provides a convenient surface for various tasks, such as:
    • Sorting laundry before washing or drying.
    • Folding dry clothes.
    • Temporarily placing laundry baskets or detergents (within the 16 kg weight limit).
  3. Retracting the Worktop: Push the worktop back into the frame until it is fully recessed. Ensure it clicks into place or is flush with the front of the frame. The worktop has a stop mechanism to prevent it from being pulled out too far.
