Safety Information

Setup

- Select Nozzle: Choose the appropriate nozzle for your task. Insert the nozzle firmly into the gun's tip.
- Fill Material Tank: Unscrew the cap of the 0.9L material tank. Fill the tank with your chosen abrasive media (e.g., silica sand, glass beads, aluminum oxide). Do not overfill. Securely screw the cap back on.

- Connect Air Supply: Connect a standard 1/4" NPT air hose from your air compressor to the air inlet on the sandblaster gun. Ensure the connection is tight and leak-free.
- Prepare Work Area: Ensure the work area is clear, well-ventilated, and that all necessary safety precautions are in place. Cover any items not to be blasted.
Operating Instructions
Before operating, ensure all safety gear is worn and the work area is prepared.
- Set Air Pressure: Set your air compressor to the recommended operating pressure of 90 PSI. Do not exceed this pressure.
- Adjust Media Flow: The sandblaster features a control knob to regulate the flow of abrasive media. Turn the knob to the 'ON' position to allow media flow. Adjust as needed for your application.

- Begin Blasting: Hold the sandblaster firmly. Point the nozzle at the surface to be cleaned, maintaining an appropriate distance (typically 6-12 inches, adjust based on desired effect). Depress the trigger to begin blasting.
- Maintain Consistent Movement: Move the sandblaster in a steady, sweeping motion across the surface to ensure even removal and prevent gouging.
- Monitor Media: Periodically check the material tank and refill as needed.
- Stop Blasting: Release the trigger to stop the abrasive flow. Turn the media flow control knob to 'OFF' when finished or taking a break.
- Disconnect Air: After use, disconnect the air hose from the sandblaster.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sandblaster.
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, empty any remaining abrasive media from the tank. Disconnect the air supply. Clean the gun body and nozzle thoroughly to remove dust and media residue. Use compressed air to clear any blockages in the nozzle or internal passages.
- Nozzle Inspection: Regularly inspect the nozzles for wear. Worn nozzles can reduce efficiency and alter the blasting pattern. Replace worn nozzles promptly.
- Air Inlet Check: Ensure the 1/4" NPT air inlet connection is clean and free of debris.
- Storage: Store the sandblaster in a clean, dry place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is disconnected from the air supply and empty of abrasive media.
