1. Introduction

4. Setup and Installation

The PanaVise 353 Plated Steel Jaws are compatible with PanaVise models 301, 303, 304, and 381 vise heads. Follow these steps to install the jaws:

1. Prepare the Vise Head: Ensure your PanaVise head (e.g., 303 or 304) is clean and free of debris. If existing jaws are present, carefully remove them by unscrewing their mounting screws.
2. Position the Jaws: Align one of the PanaVise 353 steel jaws with the screw holes on one side of the vise head. The jaw should sit flush against the vise head's surface.

3. Secure the Jaws: Insert two mounting screws into the designated holes on the jaw and thread them into the vise head. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to gently tighten the screws. Do not overtighten.

4. Repeat for Second Jaw: Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second steel jaw on the opposite side of the vise head.
5. Test Installation: Once both jaws are installed, gently open and close the vise to ensure smooth operation and proper alignment.
