ATP Automotive AT-205 Re-Seal is a professional-strength, fast-acting resealer designed to effectively stop leaks in various automotive systems. Its exclusive formulation works by restoring worn or dried out rubber seals and gaskets, without causing harm to internal bearings and components.

This product is compatible with a wide range of fluids, including conventional and synthetic oils, Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF), gear oil, power steering fluids, and hydraulic oil. It does not contain petroleum distillates, ensuring it will not over-swell or break down seals.

Check the current fluid level in the respective reservoir. It is recommended to add AT-205 Re-Seal during a fluid change or when the fluid level is slightly below the maximum fill line to avoid overfilling.

Operating Instructions

1. Determine Dosage: An 8-ounce bottle of AT-205 Re-Seal is designed to treat a 6-quart fluid capacity. Adjust the amount accordingly for systems with different capacities. For example, if your system holds 3 quarts, use half a bottle (4 ounces).
2. Add Re-Seal: Carefully pour the recommended amount of AT-205 Re-Seal into the appropriate fluid reservoir. For engine oil, it can be added directly to the oil fill port. For other systems, use the designated fill port.
3. Mix with Fluid: If adding to engine oil during an oil change, it is often beneficial to add about half the new oil, then the AT-205 Re-Seal, and then the remaining oil to ensure thorough mixing.
4. Run the Vehicle: After adding the product, replace the fill cap securely. Start the vehicle and allow the engine to run for a period, or drive the vehicle normally. This circulates the Re-Seal throughout the system, allowing it to reach and rejuvenate the seals.
5. Monitor for Results: Leaks may not stop immediately. Continue to monitor the fluid levels and observe for a reduction or cessation of leaks over a few days or a short period of driving.

Maintenance

Regularly check all fluid levels in your vehicle as part of routine maintenance. While AT-205 Re-Seal can rejuvenate seals, it is not a permanent fix for severely damaged or torn seals. Consistent monitoring helps identify potential issues early.

Troubleshooting

• Leak Persists: If the leak continues after several days of normal vehicle operation, the seal or gasket may be severely damaged, torn, or the leak might be originating from a non-rubber component. In such cases, mechanical repair or replacement of the affected part may be necessary.
• Overfilling: If you accidentally overfill the fluid reservoir, carefully drain the excess fluid to the correct level. Overfilling can cause damage to the system.
