Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required for this product. Please follow these steps carefully. Recommended tools include a screwdriver (star/Phillips head), hammer, and wrench (not included).

  1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.
  2. Attach two table legs to the tabletop using the provided screws and cam locks. Ensure the legs are opposite each other and lightly tighten the fasteners.
  3. Slide the lower shelf into position between the attached legs. Secure it with screws and cam locks, ensuring it is level.
  4. Attach the remaining two table legs, securing them to both the tabletop and the lower shelf.
  5. Once all legs and the shelf are in place, fully tighten all screws and cam locks. Caution: Do not overtighten cam locks, as this may cause damage.
  6. Carefully insert the tempered glass top into the designated recess on the tabletop. Ensure it sits flush and securely.
  7. Insert the wooden plugs into any visible screw holes for a finished appearance. Use a hammer with a soft cloth to gently tap them into place if needed.
  8. Before use, gently place the table on a level surface and check for stability. Adjust leg connections if any wobbling occurs.

Operating and Usage

The Winsome Genoa End Table is designed for indoor use as an accent table. It is suitable for holding beverages, books, decorative items, and small lamps.

  • Place the table on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.
  • Distribute weight evenly on the tabletop and lower shelf.
  • Avoid placing hot items directly on the wood or glass surfaces without protective coasters.
  • Do not drag the table when moving it; always lift it to prevent damage to the legs and floor.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care will help maintain the appearance and longevity of your end table.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the wood and glass surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish or glass.
  • Spills: Immediately wipe up any spills to prevent staining or water damage to the wood.
  • Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause fading or discoloration of the wood finish.
  • Temperature and Humidity: Maintain a stable room temperature and humidity level to prevent wood from warping or cracking.
  • Glass Care: Use a glass cleaner for the tempered glass top to keep it clear and streak-free.

Troubleshooting

Table is wobbly after assembly:
Ensure all screws and cam locks are fully tightened. If wobbling persists, loosen all fasteners slightly, press down firmly on the tabletop to ensure all legs are evenly seated, then re-tighten all fasteners.
Glass top does not fit securely:
Verify that the glass is correctly oriented and seated within the recess. Ensure no debris is obstructing its fit. If the glass appears too small or loose, contact customer support for assistance.
Wooden plugs do not stay in place:
Apply a small amount of wood glue to the plug before inserting it into the hole. Wipe away any excess glue immediately.
