Maintenance and Care
Keep your camera clean by gently wiping the lens and LCD screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures, humidity, or dust. When not in use, store the camera in a protective case. Remove batteries if the camera will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
"Set Date/Time" Prompt Appears Repeatedly
If the "Set Date/Time" screen appears every time you turn on the camera, it indicates that the internal CR2016 button battery, which maintains the date and time settings, needs to be replaced. This battery is separate from the AA batteries that power the camera for operation. Consult a service professional for replacement if you are unsure how to do it.
