2. Safety Warnings

  • Read All Instructions: Before operating the air compressor, read and understand all safety warnings and instructions in this manual.
  • Electrical Safety: Connect the compressor directly to a 12-volt vehicle battery using the provided alligator clips. Do not use with cigarette lighter sockets, as this can cause overheating and damage. Ensure connections are secure before operation.
  • Over-inflation Hazard: Never exceed the maximum recommended tire pressure. Over-inflating tires can cause them to burst, leading to serious injury. Always check the tire manufacturer's recommended PSI.
  • Overheating: The compressor may become hot during prolonged use. Allow it to cool down between uses to prevent damage. Do not operate for more than 20 minutes continuously.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the operating compressor and inflated items.
  • Ventilation: Operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area.
  • Eye Protection: Always wear appropriate eye protection when operating the air compressor.

7. Maintenance

  • Air Filter: Regularly inspect the air filter for dirt and debris. Clean or replace the air filter as needed to ensure optimal performance and prevent damage to the compressor.
  • Storage: After each use, allow the compressor to cool down completely. Store the compressor and all accessories neatly in the provided carrying bag in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Power Cord and Hose: Inspect the power cord and air hose for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage before and after each use. Do not use if damaged.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Compressor Not Turning On:
    • Check battery connections: Ensure alligator clips are securely attached to the correct battery terminals.
    • Check vehicle battery: Verify that your vehicle's battery has sufficient charge.
    • Check fuse: Inspect the inline fuse on the power cord. Replace if blown with the included spare fuse (or a fuse of the same rating).
  • Slow Inflation or Low Pressure:
    • Check air hose connections: Ensure the air hose is securely connected to both the compressor and the tire valve.
    • Inspect air filter: A clogged air filter can restrict airflow. Clean or replace it.
    • Check for leaks: Listen for hissing sounds indicating air leaks from connections or the tire valve.
  • Compressor Overheats:
    • Allow the compressor to cool down for at least 10-15 minutes before resuming operation.
    • Avoid continuous operation beyond the recommended 20-minute runtime.
