Introduction

The Simba Music World Keyboard is designed to introduce children aged 3 years and above to the world of music. This electronic keyboard features multiple instrument tones, rhythms, demo melodies, and an integrated microphone, encouraging creativity and musical exploration.

Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard.
2. Using a screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Microphone Connection

Plug the microphone cable into the designated microphone jack on the keyboard.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Locate the power switch (usually on the front or side) and slide it to the "ON" position to turn on the keyboard. Slide to "OFF" to power down.
2. Volume Control: Use the "Volume UP" and "Volume DOWN" buttons to adjust the sound level.
3. Instrument Selection: Press the instrument buttons (e.g., Piano, Organ, Guitar) to change the sound of the keys. The keyboard offers 6 selectable instrument sounds.
4. Rhythm Selection: Press the rhythm buttons to choose from 6 different background rhythms.
5. Demo Songs: Press the "DEMO" button to play pre-recorded melodies. There are 8 demo melodies available.
6. Microphone Use: Once connected, speak or sing into the microphone. Your voice will be amplified through the keyboard's speaker.
7. Record and Playback:
   • Press the "RECORD" button to begin recording your playing.
   • Play your desired melody on the keys.
   • Press the "PLAY" button to listen to your recorded melody.
8. Drum Sounds: Press the dedicated drum pad buttons to play 4 different drum sounds (bass drum, snare drum, hi-hat, cymbal).
9. Animal Sounds: Press the animal sound buttons to play 4 different animal sounds.

Troubleshooting

• No Sound:
  • Ensure the power switch is in the "ON" position.
  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Increase the volume using the "Volume UP" button.
• Microphone Not Working:
  • Ensure the microphone is securely plugged into its jack.
  • Check for any damage to the microphone cable or connector.
• Keys Not Responding:
  • Turn the keyboard off and then on again to reset it.
  • Ensure no foreign objects are lodged under the keys.
