Setup
Initial Connection and Pairing

Charging the Controller

Troubleshooting
- Controller not connecting or pairing: Ensure the controller is charged. Connect the controller to the PlayStation 3 system with a USB cable to re-establish the connection and re-pair it.
- Controller not charging: Verify that the USB cable is securely connected to both the controller and the PlayStation 3 system. The PS3 system must be powered on for the controller to charge.
- Buttons are sticky or unresponsive: This may be due to dirt or debris. Gently clean around the buttons with a soft, dry cloth or a cotton swab. Avoid forcing buttons.
- Controller unresponsive during gameplay: Try resetting the controller. A small reset button is typically located on the back of the controller (often in a small hole). Use a thin, pointed object (like a straightened paperclip) to press this button.
