The Kustom Dart 10 features a straightforward control panel for ease of use. Below is an illustration and description of the front panel controls.

Front Panel Controls:
- INPUT: This is a standard 1/4-inch (6.35mm) jack for connecting your guitar or other instrument.
- OVERDRIVE: A push-button switch that engages the amplifier's built-in overdrive effect, adding distortion and sustain to your sound.
- GAIN: This knob controls the amount of input signal level. Higher gain settings can lead to more distortion, especially when the Overdrive is engaged.
- VOICE: This control adjusts the amplifier's tonal characteristics, allowing you to shape the EQ from a brighter, more cutting sound to a warmer, fuller tone.
- VOLUME: This knob controls the overall output level of the amplifier.
- HEADPHONE: A 1/4-inch (6.35mm) stereo jack for connecting headphones for silent practice. Plugging in headphones will mute the main speaker.
- POWER: A push-button switch to turn the amplifier on or off.
- POWER INDICATOR LED: A small blue light that illuminates when the amplifier is powered on.
5. Setup
- Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the amplifier for ventilation.
- Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cord to the amplifier's power input on the rear panel (not visible in image, but standard location) and then to a suitable AC power outlet.
- Instrument Connection: Ensure the amplifier's VOLUME knob is set to its minimum position. Connect your guitar or other instrument to the INPUT jack on the front panel using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
6. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the POWER button. The blue Power Indicator LED will illuminate, indicating the amplifier is on.
- Adjusting Volume: Slowly turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase the amplifier's output level to your desired listening volume.
- Adjusting Gain: Use the GAIN knob to control the input sensitivity. Lower settings provide a cleaner tone, while higher settings can introduce natural overdrive.
- Using Overdrive: Press the OVERDRIVE button to activate the built-in distortion effect. The amount of distortion can be further controlled by the GAIN knob. Press the button again to disengage overdrive.
- Tonal Shaping (Voice): Adjust the VOICE knob to fine-tune your sound. Experiment with different settings to find the tone that best suits your instrument and musical style.
- Headphone Practice: For silent practice, plug a pair of standard 1/4-inch stereo headphones into the HEADPHONE jack. The main speaker will automatically mute. Adjust the VOLUME knob for headphone listening.
- Power Off: When finished, turn the VOLUME knob to its minimum position, then press the POWER button to turn off the amplifier. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet if not in use for an extended period.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes.
- Storage: When not in use, store the amplifier in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
