Setup
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the pedometer from its packaging.
- Battery: The pedometer is equipped with a non-replaceable Lithium-Ion battery and comes pre-installed. No user battery installation is required.
- Initial Activation: The device should be ready for use upon removal from packaging. If the display is off, press the "MODE" button to activate it.
- Attachment: The pedometer features a clip for secure attachment.
- For optimal accuracy, clip the pedometer firmly to your waistband, belt, or the laces of your sneaker. Ensure it is positioned vertically and does not swing excessively.
- Avoid placing the pedometer in loose pockets or bags, as this may affect step count accuracy.

Operating Instructions
The pedometer features a simple interface with two main buttons: "RESET" and "MODE".
- Display Modes: Press the MODE button to cycle through the different display modes:
- Steps: Displays the total number of steps taken.
- Calories (Cals): Shows an estimate of calories burned.
- Distance (Km/Mile): Displays the distance walked, which can be in Kilometers (Km) or Miles (Mile).
- Resetting Data: To clear all accumulated data (steps, calories, distance) and start a new tracking session, press and hold the RESET button until the display clears to zero. This is useful for tracking specific workouts or daily totals.
- Unit Selection (Km/Mile): The device may allow selection between Kilometers and Miles for distance tracking. Refer to the display when in distance mode; if a unit is not explicitly shown, it typically defaults to one unit (e.g., Kilometers as noted in some user feedback).
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the pedometer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Storage: Store the pedometer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Battery Care: As the battery is non-replaceable, ensure the device is not exposed to conditions that could damage the battery, such as extreme heat or physical impact.
Troubleshooting
- Pedometer Not Counting Steps:
- Ensure the pedometer is securely clipped to your waistband, belt, or shoe laces and is positioned vertically. Loose attachment can lead to inaccurate readings.
- Verify that the device is not in a "sleep" mode or has not been accidentally reset. Press the "MODE" button to check the display.
- Inaccurate Step Count:
- The pedometer's accuracy can be affected by its placement. Experiment with different secure locations (waistband, shoe) to find the most consistent reading for your gait.
- Sudden, jerky movements or very slow shuffling might not be registered accurately.
- Display Shows Zero or Resets Unexpectedly:
- Accidental pressing of the "RESET" button can clear data. Be mindful of button presses during activity.
- If the device consistently resets without interaction, it might indicate a malfunction. Refer to the Warranty and Support section.
- Display is Blank:
- Press the "MODE" button to wake the device.
- If the display remains blank, the battery may be depleted. As the battery is non-replaceable, contact support if the device is still under warranty.
