6. Setup
6.1. Battery Installation

- Touch the test probes to the circuit points where voltage is to be measured.
- Read the voltage value on the LCD.
7.2. AC/DC Current Measurement
Caution: Never attempt to measure current on a circuit with voltage present across the current terminals. This can blow the fuse or damage the meter.
- Turn off power to the circuit.
- Set the function switch to the desired ACA (~) or DCA (---) range (e.g., 200mA, 10A).

- Open the circuit where current is to be measured and connect the meter in series.
- Apply power to the circuit and read the current value on the LCD.
7.3. Resistance Measurement
- Ensure the circuit or component is de-energized.
- Set the function switch to the desired Resistance (Ω) range (e.g., 200Ω, 20kΩ).

- Ensure the component is de-energized.
- Set the function switch to the Diode (→|) position.

- Press and hold the NCV button.
