Always check that the stem and seat post are securely attached to the bicycle before installing the adaptor bar.

Do not use the 900B if any parts are broken.

The distance between the stem and seat post should not be less than 18 inches or greater than 27 inches.

Setup and Installation

Step 1: Attach to Handlebar Stem

Ensure the bicycle's seat post and stem are securely attached. Attach the large "U" hook of the adaptor bar to the bicycle's stem. Insert the bolt from the Quick Release Pin through the holes on the large hook, and ensure the retainer clip on the Quick Release Pin is properly closed.

Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect the adaptor bar for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion.
  • Check the quick release pin and retainer clip for proper function before each use.
  • Keep the plastic-coated hooks clean and free of debris to prevent scratching your bicycle's finish.
  • Store the adaptor bar in a dry place when not in use to prolong its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Adaptor bar does not fit the bicycle frame.

Solution: Ensure the distance between your bicycle's handlebar stem and seat post is within the 18" to 27" range. The internal spring allows for adjustment within this range.

Problem: Bicycle feels unstable on the rack.

Solution: Double-check that both the large U-hook and the small hook are securely attached and the quick release pin is fully engaged. Ensure the internal spring is providing adequate tension. Use additional tie-down straps to secure the bicycle to the rack.

Problem: Adaptor bar is scratching the bicycle frame.

Solution: Verify that the plastic coating on the hooks is intact. If damaged, consider replacing the adaptor bar or adding protective padding to the contact points on your bicycle.
