Safety Information

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up and install your Air King wall mount fan.

1. Assembly

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Attach the rear grill to the motor housing, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
  3. Slide the fan blade onto the motor shaft, aligning the flat side of the shaft with the corresponding slot on the blade. Secure with the provided cap or nut.
  4. Attach the front grill to the rear grill, ensuring all clips or screws are fastened to secure it.

2. Wall Mounting

Choose a suitable location on a sturdy wall, preferably where a wall stud can be located for secure mounting. Ensure there is a power outlet within reach of the 7-foot power cord.

  1. Hold the wall mounting bracket against the wall at the desired height and mark the screw hole locations.
  2. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. If mounting into drywall without a stud, use appropriate wall anchors.
  3. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  4. Carefully hang the assembled fan unit onto the secured wall mounting bracket. Ensure it is firmly seated and stable.

Operating Instructions

Your Air King 9012 fan features simple controls for ease of use.

Power and Speed Control

The fan is equipped with a front-mounted rotary switch and a pull cord for convenient operation.

  • Rotary Switch: Turn the knob to select desired speed settings (1, 2, 3) or to turn the fan off (0).
  • Pull Cord: Pull the cord repeatedly to cycle through the speed settings: High (3), Medium (2), Low (1), and Off (0).

Oscillation Function

The fan offers a 90-degree oscillation feature to distribute air over a wider area.

  • To activate oscillation, locate the oscillation knob/pin on the top or rear of the motor housing and pull it up.
  • To stop oscillation and lock the fan in a stationary position, push the oscillation knob/pin down.

Tilt Adjustment

The fan head can be tilted to direct airflow up or down.

  • Loosen the adjustment screw located on the side of the fan head.
  • Adjust the fan head to the desired angle.
