1. Prepare the Sponge: Thoroughly wet the cellulose sponge with cold water. Squeeze out excess water until the sponge is damp but not dripping. Place the moistened sponge flat inside the palette tray.
2. Prepare the Paper: Take one sheet of Sta-Wet Acrylic Paper. Wet the paper with warm water (not hot) and gently lay it on top of the moistened sponge. Ensure the paper is fully saturated and smooth, with no air bubbles underneath.
3. Apply Paints: Dispense your water-based paints directly onto the prepared paper surface. The paper will slowly absorb moisture from the sponge below, keeping your paints workable.
