Setup

After inserting the battery, the clock will attempt to receive the atomic time signal from Fort Collins, Colorado. This process may take some time, especially during initial setup, and is often more successful at night. For optimal reception, place the clock away from electronic equipment or large metal objects.

Select your time zone using the switch on the back of the clock. Available time zones include Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern. There is also an option to enable or disable Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustment.

Operating Instructions

Once the atomic signal is received, the clock will automatically set itself to the exact time, accurate to the second. It will continue to synchronize daily to maintain precision.

The clock automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time (DST) if the DST option is enabled. If your region does not observe DST, ensure this option is set to 'Off'.

A manual set option is available for situations where atomic signal reception is poor or if you prefer to set the time manually.

Maintenance
