  3. Purge Air (Bleeding):

    • The jack should now operate smoothly. If not, repeat the purging process.

Operating Instructions

Lifting a Load:

  1. Prepare Vehicle: Park the vehicle on a hard, level surface. Engage the parking brake and block the wheels that will remain on the ground.
  2. Position Jack: Position the jack under the vehicle's designated lifting point. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual for correct lifting points.
  3. Close Release Valve: Turn the handle clockwise until the release valve is firmly closed. Do not overtighten.
  4. Lift Load: Pump the handle up and down to raise the saddle and lift the vehicle. Ensure the load remains stable and centered on the saddle.
  5. Insert Jack Stands: Once the desired height is reached, immediately place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's designated support points.
  6. Lower onto Stands: Slowly turn the handle counter-clockwise to open the release valve, allowing the vehicle to gently rest onto the jack stands. Remove the hydraulic jack.

Lowering a Load:

  1. Reposition Jack: If the jack was removed, reposition it under the vehicle's lifting point and raise the vehicle slightly to clear the jack stands.
  2. Remove Jack Stands: Carefully remove the jack stands from under the vehicle.
  3. Lower Vehicle: Slowly and gradually turn the handle counter-clockwise to open the release valve. The vehicle will begin to descend. Control the lowering speed by adjusting how much you open the valve.
  4. Fully Lower: Continue lowering until the vehicle is fully on the ground. Remove the jack.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your hydraulic floor jack.

  • Lubrication: Periodically lubricate all moving parts (wheels, pivots, handle connections) with light machine oil.
  • Hydraulic Fluid: Check the hydraulic fluid level every three months or as needed. To check, lower the jack completely, remove the oil filler plug, and ensure the fluid is level with the bottom of the filler hole. Use only high-quality hydraulic jack oil.
