  1. Connect to DSL Line: Plug one end of the phone cable (RJ-11) into the "DSL" port on the back of the Zoom X5 and the other end into your wall's DSL jack or a DSL splitter.
  2. Connect to Computer/Network:
    • For a single computer: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable (RJ-45) to any of the "LAN" ports (1-4) on the Zoom X5 and the other end to the Ethernet port on your computer.
    • For multiple devices/network switch: Connect an Ethernet cable from a LAN port on the Zoom X5 to your network switch or another computer.
    • For USB connection: Connect the USB cable (if provided and supported by your ISP/OS) from the USB port on the Zoom X5 to your computer's USB port.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the "Power" port on the Zoom X5 and then into a standard electrical outlet. The device will power on automatically.
  4. Wait for Initialization: Allow a few minutes for the device to power on and establish a DSL connection. The "DSL" LED should become solid green, indicating a successful connection.
