1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Omron Wellness Kit. This kit includes three essential devices designed to help you monitor and manage your fitness and health: the Omron HJ-105 Pedometer, the Omron HBF-306 Body Fat Monitor, and the Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor. 2. Setup

2.1. Omron HJ-105 Pedometer Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the pedometer. Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Using the Omron HJ-105 Pedometer

  • Start Tracking: Once set up and attached, the pedometer automatically begins counting steps when you start moving.

  • Reset Daily Data: To clear daily data and start a new day's tracking, press and hold the reset button (refer to the device's specific button layout).

  1. Power On: Press the START button to turn on the device.
  2. Select User Profile: If multiple users are registered, select your user number.
  3. Take Measurement: Hold the grip electrodes firmly with both hands, ensuring your thumbs are on the designated contact points. Keep your arms extended straight forward, parallel to the floor.
  4. Read Results: The device will display your body fat percentage and BMI (Body Mass Index) after a few seconds.
  5. Interpretation: Consult health guidelines or a medical professional for interpretation of your body fat and BMI readings.

3.3. Using the Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor

  • Wear Chest Strap: Ensure the chest strap is properly positioned and moistened for optimal signal transmission.
  • Activate Receiver: Turn on the receiver unit. It should automatically detect the heart rate signal from the chest strap.
  • Monitor Heart Rate: Your current heart rate will be displayed on the receiver. Some models may also show average heart rate, time in target zone, and calorie expenditure.
  • Target Heart Rate Zones: For effective workouts, maintain your heart rate within 65%-85% of your maximum heart rate for at least 20 minutes. Consult a doctor to determine your individual maximum heart rate.

4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe all devices with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse devices in water.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears. Use only the specified battery types. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
  • Storage: Store the Wellness Kit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Chest Strap Care (HR-100C): After each use, rinse the chest strap electrodes with water and hang to dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

5. Troubleshooting
