4. Setup and Installation
- Prepare Mounting Hole: Ensure a mounting hole of 1" to 1 3/8" diameter is available on your countertop or sink. If drilling a new hole, consult a professional.
- Insert Dispenser Body: Place the dispenser's threaded shaft through the mounting hole from the top. Ensure any decorative escutcheon or gasket is properly seated on the countertop surface.
- Secure from Below: From underneath the countertop, slide the rubber gasket and then the locking nut onto the threaded shaft. Tighten the locking nut securely by hand, then use a wrench if necessary, being careful not to overtighten.
- Attach Soap Container: Screw the soap container onto the threaded shaft of the dispenser pump assembly from underneath the countertop. Ensure it is tightly secured to prevent leaks.

5. Operation
- Filling the Dispenser: The KWC PRIMO Soap Dispenser is designed for easy top-surface refilling. Simply pull the pump head straight up and out of the dispenser body. Pour liquid soap directly into the opening until the container is full (capacity 10.7 fl. oz). Reinsert the pump head firmly.
- Dispensing Soap: Press down on the pump head to dispense soap. Prime the pump by pressing several times if it is new or has been refilled.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the dispenser regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the stainless steel finish.
- Pump Care: If the pump becomes stiff or clogs, remove the pump head and rinse it thoroughly under warm water. For stubborn clogs, soak the pump mechanism in warm water for several minutes.
- Refilling: Refill the soap container as needed. Regular refilling prevents the pump from drawing air, which can lead to inconsistent dispensing.
