  • Regular Checks: Periodically inspect the gate for any signs of wear, damage, or loose components. Check all screws, wall cups, and the latch mechanism to ensure they are secure and functioning correctly.
  • Lubrication: If the gate hinges become stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the moving parts.

  • Gate feels loose or wobbly:
    • Check that all wall cups are securely fastened to the wall. Tighten screws if necessary.
    • Ensure the gate frame is properly seated in the wall cups.
  • Gate does not latch properly:
    • Inspect the latch mechanism for any obstructions or damage.
    • Verify that the gate is installed squarely within the opening. Slight adjustments to the wall cup positions may be needed.
  • Gate is difficult to open/close:
    • Check for any debris or foreign objects obstructing the hinges or latch.
