Product Components

Application Instructions

1. Preparation:

• Ensure your vehicle is parked in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
• Turn off the vehicle's engine and ensure the air conditioning system is off.
• Locate the air conditioner blower fan. For optimal access to the evaporator core, it is recommended to remove the blower fan. Alternatively, the product can be applied through the evaporator drain tube located underneath the vehicle.
• Shake the Klima-Cleaner can well before use.
• Attach the flexible application tube securely to the spray nozzle on the can.

2. Application through Evaporator Drain Tube:

• Identify the evaporator drain tube, usually found on the driver's side underneath the vehicle. Running the AC for a few minutes can help locate it by observing condensation dripping.
• Carefully insert the flexible application tube into the drain hole as far as possible. The rounded tip of the tube is designed to prevent damage.
• Press the spray button to release the entire contents of the can into the system. You may observe foam coming out of the drain hole as the evaporator fills.

3. Application through Blower Fan Opening (Recommended):

• After removing the blower fan, insert the application tube directly into the intake vent leading to the evaporator.
• Spray the entire contents of the can onto the evaporator core.

4. Post-Application:

• After applying the cleaner, remove the tube and allow the foam to work for approximately 20 minutes. During this time, the foam will liquefy and drain out of the system.
• After 20 minutes, turn on the vehicle's cabin fan to full power for a few minutes to dry out the system and circulate fresh air.

Maintenance

For best results and to maintain a clean and odor-free air conditioning system, apply nextzett Klima-Cleaner every 3-6 months. Regularly replacing your cabin/pollen air filters is also recommended to prevent buildup.

Troubleshooting

Persistent Odor:

If odors persist after initial application, it may indicate a severe buildup or an issue requiring professional attention. Re-application may be necessary, or consult a certified mechanic.

Foam Leakage:

It is normal for some foam or liquid to leak from the application area or drain tube. Ensure to wipe up any excess product from surfaces to prevent staining.

Difficulty Inserting Tube:

The application tube has a rounded tip to prevent damage. If you encounter resistance, apply gentle pressure and rotate the tube to guide it past any obstructions.
