Setup

1. Battery Installation

Insert the provided NiMH battery into the battery compartment on the back of the handset. Ensure the polarity is correct as indicated inside the compartment. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Charging the Handset

Connect the power adapter to the charging cradle and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Place the handset in the charging cradle. The charge indicator on the handset should illuminate, indicating that it is charging. Allow the handset to charge for at least 7 hours before initial use to ensure full battery capacity.

3. Registering the Handset to the Base Unit

Operating Instructions

Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Dial the desired phone number and press the TALK button.
  • To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, press the TALK button.
  • To End a Call: Press the OFF button or place the handset back in the charging cradle.

Using the Speakerphone

During a call, press the SPEAKERPHONE button to activate the built-in speakerphone. Press it again to return to handset mode.

Caller ID and Call Waiting

The handset supports Caller ID with Call Waiting functionality (subscription to local service required). Incoming call information will be displayed on the three-line backlit LCD. A light-up antenna will visually alert you to new calls and messages.
