Setup
Battery Installation

- Vehicle DC Lighter Adapter (not included): Connect a compatible vehicle DC lighter adapter to the DC input jack and plug it into your vehicle's 12V accessory outlet. This method also charges the Ni-Cad batteries.
Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off and Volume Control
- To turn the radio on, rotate the Volume/Power knob clockwise.
- Adjust the volume by continuing to rotate the knob.
- To turn the radio off, rotate the Volume/Power knob counter-clockwise until it clicks.
AM/FM Radio Operation
- Press the BAND button to select either AM or FM band. The selected band will appear on the LCD display.
- Use the TUNING knob to scan for desired radio stations. The frequency will be shown on the digital readout.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM reception, rotate the unit for best signal.
NOAA Weather Band Operation
- Press the BAND button repeatedly until "WB" (Weather Band) appears on the LCD display.
