Product Overview

Frownies Facial Patches are non-invasive wrinkle smoothers designed for use on the forehead and between the eyes. These hypoallergenic patches are crafted from unbleached Kraft Paper with a vegetable-based adhesive, aiming to soften expression lines by relaxing and splinting facial muscles. They are intended for overnight use and are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and PFAS.

Setup

Before application, ensure your skin is clean and dry. If you apply skincare products, allow them sufficient time to absorb completely into the skin before proceeding with patch application.

The patches come as long strips of paper, perforated into triangular shapes. Carefully tear along these perforations to separate individual patches. Each patch has a shiny side (adhesive) and a matte side.

Operating Instructions (Application)

  1. Prepare the Patch: Spray the shiny side of the patch with Frownies Rose Water Hydrator or warm water. Use your finger to spread the water evenly across the entire adhesive surface.
  2. Activate Adhesive: Place the wet patch on a clean surface and allow the adhesive to become tacky. You will notice the patch beginning to curl as it becomes ready for application. Prepare several patches in this manner.
  3. Prepare Skin: Gently massage the area of your face where the patches will be applied.
  4. Apply Patches: Hold the skin smooth with your fingers (avoid pulling). Apply one patch at a time, overlapping them as needed to cover the desired area. For forehead lines, begin by applying a patch between the eyebrows and extend outwards to cover the full forehead from eyebrow to hairline, side to side.
  5. Secure Patches: Press firmly on the applied patches for approximately 15-20 seconds to ensure they adhere securely to the skin.
  6. Wear Overnight: For optimal results, wear the Frownies Facial Patches overnight. Consistent nightly use for the first 30 days is recommended to help retrain facial muscles.

Maintenance and Removal

To remove the patches in the morning, use ample warm water. Gently slide your fingers under the edges of the patches while splashing them with water. Be patient and gentle during removal to avoid skin irritation.

If you shower in the morning, you may leave the patches on. The warm water and steam from the shower will help dissolve the adhesive, making removal easier.

After the initial 30-day period of nightly use, you can assess your results. Depending on individual factors such as expressiveness, initial line depth, skin type, and age, you may be able to reduce the frequency of use to a few nights per week.
