  • Front Speakers (L/R): For main stereo sound.
  • Center Speaker: For dialogue.
  • Surround Speakers (L/R): For ambient and surround effects.
  • Subwoofer: Connect to the SUBWOOFER PRE OUT for enhanced bass.

3. Connecting Audio/Video Components

Use appropriate cables (RCA, optical, coaxial, HDMI) to connect your source devices to the receiver.

  • DVD Player: Connect the audio output of your DVD player to the DVD audio input on the receiver. For digital audio, use an optical or coaxial cable.
  • TV/Game Console: Connect audio outputs from your TV or game console to available audio inputs (e.g., VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2). The receiver features 1 optical and 1 coaxial digital input.
  • CD Player/MD/Tape Deck: Connect to the SA-CD/CD or MD/TAPE audio inputs.

4. Antenna Connections

Connect the supplied FM wire antenna to the FM 75Ω COAXIAL terminal and the AM loop antenna to the AM terminals for radio reception.

5. Power Connection

Once all connections are made, plug the receiver's power cord into a wall outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the I/O button on the front panel or remote control.

  • AFD (Auto Format Direct): Press the AFD button to allow the receiver to automatically select the optimal decoding format.
  • 2CH: Press the 2CH button for standard 2-channel stereo playback.

4. Tuner Operation

  • Selecting Tuner: Press the TUNER FM/AM button.
  • Manual Tuning: Use the TUNING +/- buttons to find a station.
  • Preset Tuning: Use the PRESET TUNING +/- buttons to select a stored station.
