7. Maintenance and Cleaning

7.1. After Each Use

  • Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
  • Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  • Wipe the exterior of the steamer head and base unit with a soft, damp cloth.

7.2. Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits can build up inside the steamer, especially if tap water is used. To descale:

  1. Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water.
  2. Pour the solution into the water tank.
  3. Run the steamer until half of the solution has been used.
  4. Turn off and unplug the steamer, allowing it to cool for 30 minutes.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining solution.
  6. Rinse the water tank thoroughly and run the steamer with clean water to flush out any vinegar residue.

Perform descaling every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you notice reduced steam output or mineral residue.

7.3. Storage

Store the steamer in a cool, dry place. Ensure the water tank is empty before storage. The telescopic poles can be collapsed for more compact storage.
