Setup Instructions
The Roll Control Adjustable Tank Brackets are designed for easy installation into a compatible Roll Control track system. Ensure you have a Roll Control aluminum, PVC, or molded plastic track (SKUs: RCSTA81, RCSTA97) securely mounted to your desired surface (e.g., boat gunnels, van, truck bed).
- Prepare the Track: Ensure the Roll Control track is clean and free of obstructions.
- Insert Brackets: Align the base of each tank bracket with the channel of the Roll Control track. Slide the brackets into the track from either end.
- Position Brackets: Slide the two brackets along the track to the desired positions, spaced appropriately for the diameter of your scuba tank. The brackets should be positioned to cradle the tank securely.
- Verify Security: Gently pull on the installed brackets to ensure they are firmly seated within the track and do not move unintentionally.

Operating Instructions
Once the brackets are installed in the track, they provide a secure method for transporting and storing scuba tanks.
- Deploy Brackets: If the brackets are folded down, simply flip them up into their upright position. They will click into place, ready to receive a tank.
- Place Tank: Carefully lower your scuba tank vertically between the two deployed brackets. Ensure the tank rests firmly on the surface below and is cradled by both brackets. The adjustable design accommodates various tank sizes.
- Secure Tank: Verify that the tank is stable and does not wobble. The brackets are designed to hold the tank securely during transport.
- Fold Down for Storage: When the brackets are not in use, they can be conveniently folded down to create maximum deck or cargo space. To fold, gently push the top of the bracket downwards until it lies flat against the track.
Important Note: These tank brackets are not designed for use with Roll Control Tank Handles. Do not attempt to use them in conjunction with tank handles as this may compromise security.

Maintenance
The Roll Control Adjustable Tank Brackets are made from durable, corrosion-resistant polypropylene, requiring minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: After use, especially in saltwater environments, rinse the brackets and the track system with fresh water to remove salt, dirt, and debris. Use a mild soap if necessary, then rinse thoroughly.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the brackets for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Ensure the folding mechanism operates smoothly. If any damage is observed, discontinue use and replace the affected components.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the brackets in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight to prolong their lifespan.
Troubleshooting
-
Problem: Brackets do not slide smoothly in the track.
Solution: Check the track for any debris, dirt, or obstructions. Clean the track thoroughly. Ensure the brackets are inserted correctly and not misaligned.
-
Problem: Scuba tank feels unstable or loose in the brackets.
Solution: Ensure both brackets are fully deployed and locked into their upright position. Verify that the brackets are spaced correctly for the tank's diameter. If the tank is still loose, reposition the brackets closer together along the track. Confirm the tank is resting on a stable surface below the brackets.
-
Problem: Brackets do not fold down easily.
Solution: Check for any debris or foreign objects obstructing the folding mechanism. Apply gentle, even pressure when folding. Do not force the brackets if resistance is met.
