  • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
  • The stoneware crock and glass lid are dishwasher-safe.

Before First Use

  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly and use.

Setup and Operating Instructions

General Use

  1. Place the heating base on a flat, level, heat-resistant surface.
  2. Insert the stoneware crock into the heating base.
  3. Add your ingredients to the stoneware crock.
  4. Place the glass lid on the stoneware crock.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC wall outlet.
  6. Select the desired cooking setting (LOW or HIGH) using the control knob.
  7. Cook for the recommended time according to your recipe.
  8. Once cooking is complete, turn the control knob to "OFF" and unplug the appliance.
  9. Always use oven mitts when handling the hot stoneware crock or lid.

Cooking Settings

  • LOW: Ideal for slow, gentle cooking over an extended period, typically 6-8 hours. This setting is suitable for tenderizing tougher cuts of meat and developing rich flavors.
  • HIGH: For faster cooking, typically 3-4 hours. Use this setting when you need to cook meals more quickly or for recipes that require a higher initial heat.
  • OFF: Turns the appliance off.

Note: Cooking times are approximate and may vary based on ingredients, quantity, and desired doneness. Always ensure food reaches safe internal temperatures.

Care and Cleaning (Maintenance)

  • Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • The stoneware crock and glass lid are dishwasher-safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that may scratch surfaces.
  • For stubborn food residue, fill the stoneware crock with warm, soapy water and let it soak for a few hours before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials on any part of the slow cooker.
  • Store the slow cooker with the lid inverted on the crock to prevent odors and allow air circulation.

Troubleshooting
