The camera uses 35mm film. Ensure you are in a shaded area or indoors when loading film to prevent exposure.
- Open the camera back by sliding the latch on the side or bottom.

- Advance the film by turning the film advance wheel or lever until the film counter shows '1'.
Operating the Camera
Taking Pictures
- Look through the viewfinder to compose your shot.
- Press the shutter button gently but firmly to take the picture. The built-in flash will fire automatically if lighting conditions require it.
- Advance the film after each shot to prepare for the next picture.
Using the Flash
The Kodak KB10 features an automatic flash that activates in low-light conditions. There is no manual control for the flash.
- Ensure batteries are installed correctly for flash operation.
- Allow a few seconds for the flash to charge before taking a picture in dim light.
- Avoid blocking the flash with your fingers or other objects.
Unloading Film
- Once all exposures are used (film counter reaches its maximum), rewind the film back into its cartridge.
- Locate the film rewind button/lever, usually on the bottom or top of the camera.
- Press the rewind button and turn the rewind crank (if present) or lever until you feel the film detach from the take-up spool.
- Open the camera back and remove the film cartridge.
- Take the exposed film to a photo lab for development.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Camera
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the camera body.
- For the lens and viewfinder, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution specifically designed for camera optics. Do not use abrasive materials.
- Keep the film compartment free of dust and debris.
Storage
- Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
