2. Safety Information
To prevent severe injury and property damage, read this section carefully before using the product.
- Use only the supplied power adapter and telephone line cord.

4. Setup
4.1 Connecting the Base Unit
- Connect the AC power adapter to the base unit's power jack and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
- Connect the telephone line cord to the base unit's LINE jack and then plug the other end into your telephone wall jack.
4.2 Installing Batteries (Cordless Handset)
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the cordless handset.
- Insert the two supplied AAA rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
4.3 Charging the Cordless Handset
Place the cordless handset on its charging cradle. The charge indicator on the handset will illuminate, indicating that it is charging. Allow the handset to charge for at least 7 hours before initial use.
4.4 Power Backup Operation
The base unit can operate temporarily during a power outage using two AAA batteries (not supplied for this function). Insert these batteries into the designated compartment on the base unit to enable this feature.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Making Calls
- Using the Corded Handset: Lift the corded handset, dial the number, and press the TALK button.
- Using the Cordless Handset: Press the TALK button, dial the number, or dial the number first and then press TALK.
5.2 Answering Calls
- Using the Corded Handset: Lift the corded handset when the phone rings.
- Using the Cordless Handset: Press the TALK button when the phone rings.
5.3 Using Call Block
The base unit features a dedicated Call Block button. Press this button to block unwanted numbers during or after a call. Refer to the on-screen menu for managing your blocked call list.
5.4 Caller ID
This phone supports Caller ID. To use this feature, you must subscribe to Caller ID service offered by your telephone service provider. The phone can store up to 50 Caller ID items in its memory.
5.5 Phonebook Management
You can store frequently called numbers in the phonebook. The phonebook allows for easy dialing and can be used to bypass 'Do Not Disturb' mode for specified categories.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the product with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use benzene, thinner, or any abrasive powder. Keep the charging contacts on the handset and charger clean by wiping them with a dry cloth.
6.2 Battery Care
To ensure optimal battery life for the cordless handset, always place it on the charger when not in use. If the handset will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.

If you experience issues with your phone, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
