3. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
Insert the charged battery pack until it clicks into place.
Open the card slot cover. The EOS 5D Mark IV supports both CompactFlash (CF) and SD cards.
Insert the memory card(s) into the appropriate slot(s) until they click. Ensure the correct orientation.
