Reading Instructions
This board book features simple rhyming text and die-cut windows that reveal parts of an image on the next page. To engage the child:
- Hold the Book Comfortably: Ensure both you and the child can see the pages clearly. The book's sturdy pages are designed for small hands.
- Read Aloud: Read the "Peek-a" phrase on the left page with an engaging tone.
- Encourage Guessing: Point to the die-cut window on the right page and ask the child, "Who?" or "What do you see?"
- Reveal the Answer: Turn the page to reveal the full image and the rhyming answer (e.g., "MOO!" for a cow, "BOO!" for a ghost). Emphasize the sound or action associated with the revealed image.
- Observe and Respond: Pay attention to the child's reactions. Encourage them to make sounds or gestures.
