Storing & Dispensing Foods

  1. Open the lid on the top of the dispenser.
  2. Slowly add rice, beans, or other dry food into the dispenser. The dispenser must be filled with a minimum of 5 pounds and a maximum of 25 pounds of dry food.
  3. Close the lid of the dispenser.
  4. Press down on the dispensing lever. Each lever press dispenses one rice measuring cup (180mL) of dry food into the collecting tray.
  5. Remove the collecting tray and use the ingredients as desired.
  6. After each use, always replace the collecting tray into the dispenser and make sure it is closed firmly.

Caution:

Do not overfill the dispenser. The maximum capacity of this dispenser is 25 pounds of rice.
Do not fill the dispenser if the interior is wet. Food will not properly store and preserve if the dispenser is wet.
Do not press the dispenser lever more than 5 consecutive times without first collecting the food dispensed into the collecting tray. The collecting tray cannot contain more than 5 cups of dry food at a time.

Note:

Never use a damp cloth to clean the interior of the dispenser or collecting tray. In order to preserve foods, the interior of the dispenser must be kept dry.
Do not immerse the dispenser or any of its parts in water.
When pressing the dispenser lever, note that there should be 2 to 3 seconds interval time between each press.
To ensure every press will dispense a full volume of rice, gently shake the dispenser to settle the dry food inside.
Rice roughly doubles in amount when cooked. 1 cup of uncooked rice is equal to 2 cups of cooked rice.
