AmazonBasics 4-Digit Retractable Cable Lock Instructions

Caution

Make sure to read and understand these instructions before attempting to operate and change the combination of this lock.

NOTICE The default combination is 0-0-0-0. To change the combination, follow the steps below.
Step 1 : Turn dials to the pre-set combination (0-0-0-0 when new). Press CABLE TRIGGER (A) and pull out cable to required length.
Step 2: To adjust or shorten cable, press CABLE TRIGGER (A). Insert CABLE HEAD (D) firmly into the LOCKING PORT (E), you should hear a click. Scramble your COMBINATION (G). Turn DIALS (G) to the pre-set combination (0-0-0-0 when new). Press RELEASE BUTTON (F), cable should pop out. Press CABLE TRIGGER (A) to retract cable.

CAUTION The cable return mechanism is spring loaded. Please note the possible rebound path of the cable to avoid getting possible hurt.
Step 3: Turn dials to the pre-set combination. (0-0-0-0 when new). Press CABLE TRIGGER (A) to ensure CABLE (C) is fully retracted.
Step 4: Push in RESET BUTTON (B) and hold until step 4 is completed. Press CABLE HEAD (D) down into the main body, you should hear a click. Turn dials to your own secret combination.
