Make sure a battery is attached before adding solar panels (If disassemble your system, remove the battery last!)
An improper sequence order can damage the controller!
|Controller’s body temperature display. if the controller gets hot during running it will automatically shut down and wait for the temperature to drop to a normal level and then it will work again. (only for some models)|
|Charging ampere display.|
|Discharging ampere display.|
|LCD turns to the main page again and presses the Menu button to switch between the below 5 adjustable pages if an adjustment is needed.|
|Charging voltage display. when the battery is charged to this voltage. it will maintain and keep float charging. The voltage will first reach up to 14.2V(±0.15V)and it will maintain this level for 2 hours then it drop back to 13.7V or lower.|
|Low voltage re-connect display. When a low voltage disconnect happens, the controller will wait until the voltage raises more than this voltage, then it will re-connect the load again.|
|Low voltage disconnect display. (LVD) When the battery voltage is lower than this voltage, the controller will cut off the output automatically.|
|Load working mode. OH: The load works from Dusk to Dawn. 1-20H: it starts at sundown and stops after 1-20 hours. 24 H: it works continuously for a full day.|

B03= LIFePO4 4s 4×3.2V=12.8V
It recognizes the lead-acid battery automatically, but for other batteries, we need to select the type manually.
|How to change the default setting |
During the above adjustable page, you can long press the Menu button until the value flashes and use UP/DOWN to change the value. Then long press the Menu/Down button again to exit/return to the default setting.
|D2D trigger value(solar panel voltage) When the work mode is D2D or Timer, the controller will detect the solar panel voltage to decide whether it’s day or night, so to decide to enable load output or not. the higher this value is, the earlier it enables the load output. the setting is the same as above.|
|D2D trigger delay value(Second) When the controller detects the solar panel voltage that is lower than the trigger value, it will delay for 10S and detect again to make sure night falls, then enable the load output. some car lights or thunder lighting will confuse the controller and make it think it’s daytime, using this delay can prevent interference. default values are recommended. the setting is the same as above.|
|Short-circuit protection setting. Some inductive or capacitive consumers will trigger short-circuit protection during start-up. therefore, you can disable the SC protection manually. SC.F=OFF, SC.n=0N.the default is ON. the setting is the same as above.|
|High-temperature anomaly interface, when the controller’s body temperature is too high, it will enter stand-by mode and stop charging or discharging, when the temperature drops down to a safe level, it will work again. Press any key to ignore for one time and forced it to work again.|
|Low voltage protection interface. Empty battery symbol flashing means the battery is discharged lower than the LVD voltage. the controller has disabled the output. user should charge the battery until it raises up to LVR voltage and then the controller will recover the output status. press any key to ignore for one time and forced it to work again.|
|Over-current or short-circuit protection. The load symbol flashing means an output over-current or short-circuits protection occurs. The controller now will disable the output and wait for 30s delay then try to recover again. The user should check and remove the trouble in time.|
|• Please check whether the battery connection is tight and no reverse connection. (Battery -4 Solar —>Load) |
• Check that the proper battery type has been selected.
• Remaining power level of the battery should have 11V at least before first setting up. LCD after use. down
|• Ensure the battery is not lower than 8V. or you need to replace a new battery/reduce the load. |
• Normally controller will disable the outing if the battery drops to 10.7V(Default value.)But for old batteries, after hundreds of cycles, the battery’s ability to hold capacity may become degraded. What is more, improper handling and usage may aggravate self-discharging problems which also lead to an 8V battery. For more information, please do some research on Google.
|• Please check whether solar connections are tight and no reverse connection. |
• Measure the solar panel’s open-circuit voltage/short-circuit current to see whether it is still within normal limits.
|• Solar charging is affected a lot by weather conditions. Other possible causes: |
• Shading /dirt on solar cells. Make sure your panels are free of shade/dirt, even minor or partial shading reduces yields.
• The charging enter float charging current is extremely stage.
When the battery is nearly full, it will enter the float charging stage which requires a very small charging current.
| Please check whether load connections are tight and no reverse connection. |
• Be sure the working voltage/power is compatible.
• Be sure the working mode is chosen correctly.
• LVD(Low Voltage Disconnect)
Due to prolong raining/cloudy days, the solar-generated may become much smaller, and the load will have to get power from the battery storage. And day by day, it will cause an LVD.
