3. Compatibility Requirements

How to Update the Product:

1. Connect the AI Box directly to a USB 5V power supply (e.g., a phone charger or car charger USB port). Important: Do not use the original car's USB port for firmware upgrades, as this may cause the upgrade to fail.
2. On your phone, join the WiFi network broadcast by the AI Box. The network name will be "OKBox-BT_****", "smartBox_****", or "AIBox-BT_****". The default password is 88888888.
3. Open a web browser on your phone and enter the IP Address 192.168.1.101.
4. On the webpage, locate and click the "upgrade" button.
5. Wait for a few minutes for the upgrade process to complete.
6. Note: After successfully upgrading, please "forget" the AI Box's WiFi network from your phone's saved networks.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Do I have to sync the wireless AI Box adapter every time when starting my car?

No, you do not. After the initial setup and adaptation, the wireless CarPlay or Android Auto adapter will automatically connect to your iPhone's Bluetooth and WiFi every time you start your car.

7.2 How to upload log data when the adapter doesn't work for my car unit?

If you encounter issues, you can upload log data to assist with diagnosis:
