Pre-installation Precautions:
- The product power supply must not be connected directly to the motorbike or electric car battery. This can cause short-circuits or prevent the product from powering on.
- Power Supply Connection Principle: The device should receive 12V when the engine is started or in ACC state, and 0V when the engine is off. Use a multimeter to verify this.
- Before connecting the power cord, use a multimeter to measure the voltage to ensure it meets the power supply connection principle for proper energization.
Steps for Power Connection:
- Locate the Fuse Box: First, find the motorbike power fuse box (typically near the front end or the battery). For electric vehicles, refer to the power adapter/adaptor.

Figure 3.4: Power Adapter for Electric Vehicles
- Prepare Multimeter: Use a multimeter to measure the voltage (12V) before installation.

Figure 3.5: Multimeter
- Measure Fuse Box Power: Measure the power supply of the fuse box to ensure it provides 12V when powered on (engine started or ACC state) and 0V when powered off.

9. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your navigation system, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Device Not Switching On: Check if the wiring connection is normal, especially the ACC power line.
- Front or Rear Camera Not Showing: Test the camera by swapping its connection with the other camera (e.g., if the front camera isn't displaying, connect the rear camera to the front camera's input). If the issue persists with the original camera, it may be faulty and require replacement.
- Both Front and Rear Cameras Not Displayed: Check if the camera cable connections are normal and secure.
- Video Recording Not Clear: Check for dust on the lens and wipe it clean.
- Bluetooth Not Connecting: Verify that the Bluetooth password is correct when pairing the host and your mobile phone.
- Bluetooth Headset Not Connecting: Check the host and Bluetooth headset matching. If the host cannot find the headset, it may be incompatible, and you might need to connect a different headset or replace the current one.
- Cannot Play Recorded Video/Photo in APP: Check if the TF-SD card is damaged or corrupted.
- Screen Display/Video Recording Streak Electromagnetic Wave Interference: Ensure there are no issues with camera alignment or cable ties. Cables should be smoothly aligned, not folded, and have some margin. Avoid tying cable ties too tightly or extruding cables with the car shell.
10. User Tips
- Regular Maintenance: Periodically clean the device screen and camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to maintain optimal visibility and recording quality.
- Memory Card Care: To ensure reliable video recording and prevent data loss, regularly format your TF memory card within the device. This helps clear fragmented files.
- Secure Connections: Always double-check all cable connections, especially after installation or maintenance, to prevent intermittent issues.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the ELOOK Pro App for any available firmware updates to ensure your device has the latest features and performance improvements.
