2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

2.2 Placement and Mounting

The HORLAT X09MAX projector offers flexible installation options:

  • Table Installation: Place the projector on a stable, flat surface.
  • Tripod Installation: Use the M4 screw holes at the bottom of the projector to mount it on a compatible tripod.
  • Ceiling Installation: Mount the projector to the ceiling using a suitable projector mount and the M4 screw holes.
  • Wall Installation: Securely mount the projector to a wall using appropriate hardware and the M4 screw holes.

For optimal viewing, ensure the projector is positioned to achieve a 120-inch screen size from approximately 4 meters distance. The projector supports a projection distance range of 1.5m to 9m, allowing for screen sizes from 50 inches to 400 inches.

2.3 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cord to the projector's power input.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a suitable AC power outlet (AC100-240V/50-60Hz).

2.4 Connecting External Devices

The projector is equipped with various ports for connecting external devices:

3.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the device on or off.

3.2 Initial Setup and Automatic Adjustments (ASA3.0)

5. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No Power Power cord not connected, power outlet faulty. Ensure power cord is securely connected to both projector and a working outlet.
No Image / Distorted Image Lens cap on, focus/keystone not adjusted, input source incorrect, external device issue. Remove lens cap. Allow ASA3.0 to auto-adjust. Manually adjust focus/keystone if needed. Verify correct input source. Check external device connection.
