1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information and step-by-step instructions for the safe and effective replacement of LED backlight strips in compatible television models. These LED backlight strips are designed to restore the display functionality of your TV, offering high brightness and long operating life. Please read all instructions carefully before proceeding with installation.

2. Safety Information
WARNING:
- Non-professionals should not attempt to replace the LED.
- Beware of bright light during testing.
- When testing, ensure correct polarity (positive/negative terminals).
- The LCD screen is extremely fragile! Handle with utmost care during disassembly and installation. If you are not confident in your technical skills, it is strongly recommended to seek assistance from a professional technician for replacement.
- Always disconnect the TV from the power source before beginning any repair or installation work.
- Avoid touching electronic components unnecessarily to prevent electrostatic discharge damage.
3. Setup and Installation
Careful installation is crucial for the proper functioning and longevity of your new LED backlight strips. Follow these steps meticulously:
Preparation: Ensure your TV is unplugged and placed on a clean, soft, and stable surface to prevent damage to the screen. Gather necessary tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pry tools).
Disassembly: Carefully disassemble the TV casing and remove the LCD panel. Remember the exact order and orientation of all components, especially the light guide plate and optical films. Incorrect reinstallation can lead to color distortion, uneven tint, visible shadows, or individual LEDs being seen from outside the TV.
Remove Old Strips: Gently detach the old LED backlight strips from the TV panel. Note their original positions and connections.
Install New Strips:
- Do not remove the blue adhesive backing on the new LED strip upon receipt.
- Align the new LED strip exactly with the position of the old strip. Incorrect alignment may cause mismatch with the reflective sheet holes.
- The new light bar is designed with an aluminum plate for faster heat dissipation and is extremely durable. It comes with thermal double-sided tape already applied.
- The backlight strip uses the original connection interface for easy installation.

Figure 3: The LED strip features an original connection interface for seamless integration. Initial Testing: After replacing the old strip with the new one, do not reassemble the screen immediately. First, power on the TV and test the new strip for 3–10 minutes to ensure it lights up properly. Observe for any flickering, dead spots, or uneven lighting.
Final Assembly: Only after confirming normal operation should you remove the adhesive backing and firmly attach the strip. Carefully reassemble the TV, ensuring all connections are secure and components are correctly positioned.
4. Operating Instructions
Once correctly installed, the LED backlight strips operate automatically as part of your television's internal backlight system. No direct user interaction is required for the strips themselves. The TV's normal power on/off and brightness controls will manage the backlight operation.
5. Maintenance
These LED backlight strips are designed for long-term, maintenance-free operation. To ensure the longevity of your TV's display:
- Keep the TV clean and free from dust.
- Avoid exposing the TV to extreme temperatures or humidity.
- Prevent physical impact or pressure on the screen.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues after installing the new LED backlight strips, consider the following:
- No Backlight / Dim Screen:
- Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and correctly seated.
- Verify that the power supply to the LED strips is correct and stable.
- Ensure correct polarity during connection, as indicated by the warning. - Uneven Lighting / Dark Spots:
- Re-check the alignment of the LED strips. Misalignment can cause light leakage or uneven distribution.
- Confirm that the light guide plate and optical films were reinstalled in their correct sequence and orientation. - Flickering Backlight:
- Inspect connections for any loose contacts.
- Ensure the correct voltage is being supplied to the strips. - Incorrect Color / Distortion:
- This often indicates an issue with the light guide plate or optical films. Review their placement and orientation.
If problems persist, it is recommended to consult a professional TV repair technician.
