2. Safety Information and Precautions

Helmet Compatibility

Installation Methods
There are two primary methods for installing the R1 main unit onto your helmet:
- Clip-on Base Fixed: Secure the main unit using the clip-on base, which attaches to the helmet's edge.
- Velcro Fixed: Use the provided Velcro kit to adhere the main unit to a flat surface on your helmet.

Important Pre-Installation Reminder
Before permanently installing the headset into your helmet, it is recommended to connect it to your mobile phone and test the sound effect and volume. If you notice a significant difference in sound quality or volume after installation, adjust the position of the speaker inside the helmet for optimal performance.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power ON/OFF
- Power ON: Press and hold the On/Off Button for 3 seconds. You will hear an On/Off beep and the LED will flash.
- Power OFF: Press and hold the On/Off Button for 3 seconds.
- Toggle Voice Announcement: Double-tap the On/Off Button when Bluetooth is disconnected.
5.2 Bluetooth Connection
- When the device is waiting for pairing, the Bluetooth indicator (blue) will blink fast.
- Once Bluetooth pairing is successful, the blue LED light will flash slowly.
- Note: Do not connect Bluetooth during the initial setup if you intend to use the auto-answer function, as this may affect its configuration.
5.3 Intercom Function
The intercom function is disabled by default at startup.
- Intercom Reconnection: For previously connected devices, short press the Intercom Button after startup to enter intercom mode. The two devices will automatically connect.
- Two-Person Intercom: The R1 supports real-time, fast calls between two users up to a straight distance of 300 meters without obstacles.

- Adjust Intercom Volume: Long press the Volume Plus or Volume Down buttons to adjust the intercom volume.
- Clear Pairing and Restore Factory Settings: When the device is ON and neither Bluetooth nor intercom is connected, simultaneously press and hold the Volume Down and Volume Up buttons for 5 seconds. The blue and green lights will flash rapidly to indicate that all pairing information has been cleared and factory settings restored.
- Light-off Mode: Simultaneously press the Intercom Button and Volume Up button to turn off all indicator lights. Press both buttons again to turn them back on (default setting is on).
5.4 Telephone Function (Auto-Answer Incoming Calls)

- Toggle Manual/Automatic Answer: Double-tap the On/Off Button when Bluetooth is not connected to switch between manual and automatic answer modes.
- Automatic Answer: If set to automatic mode, incoming calls will be answered after approximately 15 seconds.
- Manual Answer: Short press the On/Off Button to answer an incoming call.
- Refuse Call: Press and hold the On/Off Button for 2 seconds to refuse an incoming call.
- End Call: Short press the On/Off Button to end an active call.
- Final Code Redial: Double-click the On/Off Button to redial the last number.
- Cancel Outgoing Call: Short press the On/Off Button to cancel an outgoing call.
- Phone Priority Function: If a call comes in while devices are connected via intercom and Bluetooth, the system will automatically switch to phone call answering mode. Intercom mode will resume after the call ends.
5.5 Music Function
- Play/Pause: Short press the On/Off Button.
- Next Song: Short press the Next Song / Volume Plus button.
- Previous Song: Short press the Previous Song / Volume Down button.
- Adjust Music Volume: Short press the Volume Plus or Volume Down buttons.
- Dual-Channel Mixing: When intercom and Bluetooth are connected, music or navigation audio can be mixed with intercom communication, allowing you to hear both simultaneously.
5.6 Voice Assistant

- Wake Up Voice Assistant: Long press the Intercom Button when Bluetooth is successfully paired.

5.7 Battery Level Display
